Home produced - the SPS range of punnets ticks all the boxes

Made in Britain with 10% extra crate fit and enhanced product visibility are key features in this latest family of soft fruit punnets. Unlike most packaging manufacturers the punnets are made in the UK at Sharpak's Kent plant.

The SPS range has been introduced in depth sizes 85, 60, 50 and 40mm. The range has evolved from its predecessor - the SPE range - and offers enhancements in terms of product visibility and up to 10% better crate fit.

Mark Tollman, Sales Director for produce commented  'The soft fruit market has wide and varied packaging demands and our punnet ranges are evolving to fit those customer needs. While providing improved product visibility, the SPS family offers greater crate fit which ultimately means fewer trucks on the road with more volume per truck load'.

The SPS family is made from up to 100% recycled PET containing approved post consumer waste from the UK and European waste stream. This is sourced from recycled cola and mineral water bottles that are re-ground, super-washed and delivered in the form of pellets.

The punnets have an uninterrupted product view lengthways with ribs at the corners for extra stability in rigorous pack house and logistical environments.

The punnets can be heat - sealed or lidded. There is improved lid retention and ventilation with mini perforations in the lids. Lids can be stacked for automatic de-nesting, which facilitates automatic lifting of the lids from the stacks.

The SPS range is manufactured in Sharpak's UK factories.
