Sharp Interpack Ltd recognises the importance of environmental protection and will comply with all environmental regulations, legislation and approved codes of practice relating to the processes and activities of the Company. It is the objective of Sharp Interpack Ltd to co-operate and maintain good relations with all regulatory authorities and bodies.

It is the declared policy of Sharp Interpack Ltd to carry out all measures reasonably practicable to enable the company to meet and exceed, wherever possible, all necessary requirements to improve environmental performance. The aims will be to:-

   1. Assess the environmental effects of all the Company's activities including the packaging, storage and distribution ofthe products that it supplies.
   2. Reduce the amount of waste produced, while maximising the use of recyclable and renewable materials wherever possible.
   3. Minimise consumption of raw materials, water, utilities and fuels.
   4. Limit production of pollutants to water, land and air.
   5. Limit the noise produced within and around the site as a result of the Company's activities.
   6. Minimise the risk of harm to employees and members of the public from processes and activities associated with the Company.

The Company will provide information and assistance to customers on environmental issues arising from its products and services and will encourage employees, suppliers, sub-contractors and customers to be environmentally aware.
