Sharpak waste attitudes survey

When asked what statement most represents respondents attitude to the environment 72% replied that they thought caring about the environment is something we should all be responsible for and we should all do what can to help save it

73% suggested food packaging manufacturers had a good reputation for using recyclate in their packaging

87% preferred to buy food that was locally grown and locally sourced

82% wanted retailers to display the origin of packaging manufacture as well as the origin of the food itself

78% would be prepared to pay a few more pence for the food which was contained in packaging sourced/produced in the UK

75% Were aware that their local authority collected and recycled plastic packaging
