The company offers a range of trays designed for modified atmosphere packaging in materials APET, PET with PE laminate, PP and PP barrier materials. The ‘D’ meat packs is the only comprehensive range available in both ultra-clear and coloured materials; with shallow, deep and bespoke packs from 'D1' for small joints, mince or burgers up to 'D21' able to accommodate heavy promotional pack weights and BBQ packs.

EcoPet
Through our £2m investment into brand new machinery we have pioneered a closed loop, in-house recycling system that is able to create a PET-based material called 'EcoPET'. The product uses up to 90% recycled materials and has excellent gas barriers with superior resistance at low temperatures including freezer applications.

Sharpak’s core fish packaging are the D16 and D12 family in r-APET/PE laminate together with the D24 prawn tray. An r-APET mono HS material is used for the new EcoPack version - a universal 100% recyclable solution for all tray seal packing lines.

Sharpak has launched the F2 and F3 in recycled Polypropylene (r-PP), containing 50% recycled materials. All are available in clear or blue tint colours. All three ranges incorporate Sharplok eliminating the need for absorbent pads. An attractive on-shelf design with ribbed walls and good product clarity.

The F2 and F3 offer a reduced a-b denest facility enabling optimal warehouse storage through fuller pallets (up to 80% improvement) resulting in a significant reduction in trucks on the roads.

Sharpaks flagship range of wholebird P range and portion pack S range is recognised as the pre-eminent range leaders in the industry. Sharpak has launched polypropylene (PP) across its wholebird and portion range of trays incorporating industrial recyclate and UK-stream post consumer high density polyethylene (r-HDPE). Its a natural choice that clearly and confidently breaks the reliance on virgin petro-chemicals reducing environmental impact.

Recycled PET & PP contains a minimum of 50% approved post consumer recyclate (PCR) content.

Ecopack
A 100% recyclable solution dedicated to the Spanish market for all tray sealing packing lines offering a significant cost saving compared to current and conventional top seal solutions. A strong pack with superior sealing, a fully recyclable tray top sealed with Ecolite, a polyester film also containing recycled material. Sharplok in the base eliminates the need for absorbent pads. An a-b denest facility enables better palletisation.
